Right-of-Way Engineering and Survey Support Services

The California High-Speed Rail Authority has issued three Requests for Qualifications (RFQ) to procure three architectural and engineering contracts for right-of-way (ROW) engineering and survey support services. Each resulting contract will include providing personnel and expertise to prepare ROW appraisal maps, legal descriptions, surveys, staking, monumentation, and exhibits to support ROW acquisition and other requested services for a three-year term and a not-to-exceed amount of $3,349,000.

The RFQs and resulting contracts include scopes of work that span separate geographic areas as follows:

• (a) One contract for the Central Valley section, spanning approximately 120 miles in length and generally covering the locations of Construction Packages 1, 2‑3, and 4;
•  
• (b) One contract for the Fresno-to-Bakersfield Locally Generated Alternative (LGA) project section, spanning approximately 18.5 miles in length and located within Kern County; and
•  
• (c) One contract for the Merced-to-Madera (M‑M) section, spanning approximately 34 miles in length and located within the counties of Madera and Merced.
